Garrison Practice Battle vs LGA [RESULTS]

Hey ACP,

We had a big practice battle today against the Lime Green Army. We had an awesome start, but we did lose a couple people midway through the battle. I believe we came out on top and won them over! Great job to all who attended, and congratulations to our new Owners; Sidie, Koloway, and Nicwin!

I'm noticing that we aren't that great with our tactics. Remember to keep doing the tactic for at least 20 seconds. The idea is to get as many people doing the same emote/phrase as possible, this is one of the ways we "attack" one another. I would recommend having half of your screen be the Discord server, and the other half Club Penguin Rewritten. That way, you can watch both areas and do the tactics on time! Regardless, we did fairly well against them... it was well fought!

New Owners!

I hereby promote Koloway and Nicwin to the rank of General (3rd in Command).
I also would like to introduce Sidie, our new Field Marshal (2nd in Command).

Koloway: You are someone I trust, and you have quite a bit of experience from the Rebel Penguin Federation. You also created our stunning website! You were in the ACP in the past before Club Penguin shut down, this is your home army. I would like you to be part of my administration, please do not disappoint me!

Nicwin: Thank you for returning to the Club Penguin Army community when this army was in it's revival process, quite a coincidence! You led Rebel Penguin Federation back in 2015 I believe, and you were once an ACP member back in 2008. Now you are an Owner in the ACP and I expect you to really shine and bring out your leadership skills. I expect great things from you, together with the other Owners... we can make ACP great.

Sidie: I'm so glad to have you back in the ACP. You were a former leader of the ACP back then, specializing in the AUSIA division. You have quite a bit of experience, and you are also an ACP legend. I think we easily can agree about what our visions for ACP are... I am putting my trust in you. With you in our AUSIA division... I'm confident that we can make great strives to improve not only our AUSIA division... but the entire army overall.

Unscheduled Gendarmerie Introduction [RESULTS]

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

None of this was planned. With the amount of recruiting everyone has been doing in ACP, Chainpro and I have noticed an influx in Privates who are on the other side of the world that still want to attend events. Before the shutdown of Club Penguin, the Army of Club Penguin had the biggest and most fierce AUSIA division. It was founded by yours truly and created a legacy that no other army had seen at the time, starting with Gendarmerie leader Flipmoo.

Originally I wanted to hold this unscheduled event on Friday. I didn't wake up in time though so round two was a better success! The fact this was an unscheduled event is an amazing testament to the potential this division has. Let's keep up the fantastic work.

Special shout out to people like Desiindian (ACP4EVER29), Poor Richard, and Sandwich (yeeter17272) for leading many of the tactics! Don't forget about the practice battle versus LGA later TODAY.

Garrison Training [RESULTS]

Hi there, ACP!

Today we logged onto Sleet, Club Penguin Rewritten, for another fun training event. I was very impressed with how we did! Our formations were spectacular. However, sometimes our tactic completion isn't that great, but that's okay! For battles, the judges (Club Penguin Army Administrators) look at size, tactic completion, and formations to decide the winner of the battle. Usually size alone is enough to win, but if the sizes are close... performing good complete tactics can give us the edge. Our "A" formation was the highlight of our event, that was our first "complex" formation and we did it pretty fast!

Recruiting Guide and Other Things

Addressed to the Army of Club Penguin

It was asked of me today to talk more about recruiting, how to do it, and why it is important.

When?

First thing's first, when should you recruit? Recruiting should be done predominately whenever you're available for around a thirty minute to an hour block (even more the better!). The days where ACP has no events are considered recruiting days. While we may not collectively log on for an event, it's best to log on and recruit other penguins to our cause. Recruits will need time to get the feel of what being in a Club Penguin army is like and sometimes throwing them into an event right after joining can create some messy tactics. This is why we have a Beginner's Guide channel on the Discord server.

Where?

The where can depend on the time of day: ask yourself about the populations of each server. If a server has anything more than one bar, it is worth recruiting on. In the case for Club Penguin Rewritten, moderators are all over Blizzard. Blizzard should only be used if every other server is at one bar.

The room you choose to recruit at is important too. You want a place where people will first log on into but nothing that's bustling with traffic. The Cove, Mine, and Plaza are all good examples of places to recruit at. EPF HQ is another great place-- those hanging out there are probably interested in missions and spy work, something the Army of Club Penguin is known for.

You can even send postcards, like Meet at the Pool, if you need more space to talk to the person one on one.

How?

The most important part of recruiting first and foremost is have fun! Grab a friend, grab some snacks, make it an enjoyable experience for you. If you don't have fun you're not going to do it often. Recruiting in pairs, or groups, is the best way to grab people's attentions. Usually you don't even have to initiate conversation for them to ask what's going on. Unscheduled events can also happen this way. Enough people from ACP taking part in a recruiting session can give us event points on an otherwise off day; do a E+L (clover) tactic, take a picture, and post it on the Discord.

Now I'll be discussing how to recruit. You'll want go make your penguin catch someone's eye and the best way of doing that is having your penguin perform a special dance. Remember to use an alt!

Auto-typing is discouraged in ACP. It's just not the effective way to recruit. Instead, try following a script like this:
  • Hey there!
  • What's up?
  • I'm _____ (bored, dancing, giving out coffee, etc.)
  • Ever heard of ACP?
  • Oh, it's really cool! We do fun fights, events, and games
This is usually the beginning of the conversations. Finally, this is how you recruit them:
  • Look up armie of club penguin
  • It's the first result
  • On the top post
  • Click start here
  • It's an invite to join!
These phrases will redirect them to our archive website which has the Discord link right on top. We're fortunate enough to have a website that is on the top of search engines like this. Other than that, it's all about engaging the person. We DO NOT want to appear as bots.

Other phrases you may use:
  • Goggle it
  • Goooogle armie of club penguin
Try to avoid talking about the Discord as that usually can terminate in a ban.

Why?

Recruiting new faces is how we continue the legacy of this community. CPPS do not have the same tools as Disney did in marketing Club Penguin so recruiting even just one person a day is so important. The Army of Club Penguin is a special experience and a bigger army means more friends, more conversation, and more memories. Thank you for your service.

Discord

Do not recruit from other army Discords, only Club Penguin Discords. Here is a copy paste for you to use:
Hey, this is an invite to the Army of Club Penguin! We are a community that operates on Club Penguin Rewritten (CPR). We offer mascot trackers, fun snowball fights, and other events like earning stamps! We were the first big group on the original Club Penguin and would love to have you join our ranks. If you are interested, join our Discord server [insert your invite link]

Survey Corps Training [RESULTS]

Greetings ACP,

Today we had a training event on Club Penguin Rewritten, and it went fairly well! This was our first event hosted for the Survey Corps (UK Division), which exceeded our expectations! We went to many different rooms and experimented with a couple of different formations including the circle, L, and V. During this event, we peaked at around 13 total ACP soldiers online... averaging roughly 11. Thank you Mchappy for leading the event, and thank you all for attending. You guys rocked it out there!
